Match the full identity
Confirm the category, brand, model, generation and exact engine. Two engines with similar names can belong to different generations and calibrations. Use the known vehicle details and original read, not only the expected HP.
Check controller and reading details
Record the ECU manufacturer and type, software details when known, reading tool and reading method. For TCU work, identify the transmission controller and gearbox separately. A catalogue ECU label does not guarantee file compatibility.
Review suggestions and unknown fields
The portal can suggest fields from a filename. Review every suggested value; complete or correct it using the actual application information. If a field is unknown, ask support rather than inventing an identity or power figure.
