How it works
Exhaust-gas recirculation returns a controlled amount of exhaust gas to the intake to help manage combustion and NOx emissions.
A controller-specific request concerning a valve or air-management function.

Disabling EGR changes that strategy and can increase NOx emissions. It does not repair a leaking valve, cooler or damaged intake component.
Review the valve, cooler, airflow readings and recorded faults. A mechanical leak remains a mechanical problem after a software change.
Changes to emissions, diagnostics or noise-related functions may not be permitted for public-road use. Confirm the requirements for the intended vehicle and location with AutoScan before ordering.
