A diesel particulate filter traps soot. The ECU monitors filter loading and manages regeneration under suitable conditions.

What changes?
Disabling the related strategy changes monitoring and regeneration behaviour. Software does not remove a blocked filter. Removing filtration hardware increases particulate emissions.
Before you proceed
Check pressure readings, temperature sensors, soot loading and the mechanical condition. Agree the exact hardware configuration before any file change.
